Traditionally, solvent cleaning has been widely used for pre-welding cleaning due to issues with degreasing power and residue of cleaning agents after washing. In the case of water-soluble detergents, it has been a significant challenge to reduce the defect rate in welding due to poor cleaning and incompatibility of detergent components.
